Present Perfect — A Career in Riverside

How it works

The present perfect talks about experience and change up to now. Form it with have / has + past participle. In this story, Daniel talks about his job at a bank and how his town has changed — but 15 present perfect verbs are missing! Read the story carefully and fill in each blank with the correct form. Remember: use has with he, she, and it, and have with I, you, we, and they.

Examples: She has worked at the bank for six years.  ·  They have built a new library.  ·  I have lived here for ten years.

Read the Story — Fill in 15 Prepositions

✏️ Now use it: Write 3 sentences about your own experience — a job, a town, or a skill — using the present perfect. Read them to a partner: can they guess how long you have done it?
