Possessive pronouns replace nouns (and their possessive adjective) to avoid repetition. They stand alone:

Adjective: Always followed by a noun. Example: Her car is new.
Pronoun: Stands alone, replacing the noun. Example: That car is hers.

4. These seats are ours, not theirs.
