Ordering a Pizza

Characters:

Setting: A bustling, casual pizza restaurant.

(The scene opens with Anna and Chloe seated at a small table. They are looking at a menu with different types of pizzas and toppings.)

ANNA: This looks so good, but I don't know what to get. Do you have a favorite?

CHLOE: Oh, yeah. I always get the **Supreme**. It's got a little bit of everything: pepperoni, sausage, peppers, onions, and mushrooms. It's a classic for a reason.

ANNA: Supreme? That sounds like a lot! I think I want something a little simpler. What's the difference between a **pepperoni pizza** and a **meat lover’s pizza**?

CHLOE: Good question. A pepperoni pizza is just that—just pepperoni on top. A meat lover’s pizza, though, has several kinds of meat, like pepperoni, sausage, ham, and sometimes bacon.

ANNA: Okay, I think I'll just stick to something simple. A pepperoni sounds perfect. What kind of **crust** do you want to get?

CHLOE: They have a great **thin crust**, which is crispy, or you can get the **hand-tossed**, which is a little thicker and softer. I like the hand-tossed best. It’s perfect for dipping in their **garlic sauce**.

ANNA: Garlic sauce? Is that extra?

CHLOE: Sometimes, but it’s worth it! You have to try it.

(The server comes to their table, pad in hand.)

SERVER: Are you ready to order, ladies?

CHLOE: Yes, we are. We'll get a large, hand-tossed pepperoni pizza. Could we also get a side of garlic sauce for dipping?

SERVER: Absolutely. And what about drinks?

ANNA: I'll have a water with lemon, please.

CHLOE: Just a soda for me.

SERVER: Sounds good. A large hand-tossed pepperoni, a side of garlic sauce, a water, and a soda. I’ll put that order in for you. It should be ready in about 20 minutes.

(The server walks away. Anna looks pleased with their order.)

ANNA: Thanks for helping me. I feel so much better knowing what I'm getting.

CHLOE: No problem! This is going to be the best pizza you've ever had.

(The friends smile, excited for their meal. FADE OUT.)
